Awinetrip.com and our social networking pages (together the “Site”) provides an one­stop online booking platform for people to create, list, discover and book various tours and unique travel experiences, accommodation, restaurants, winery visits and wedding planning. Awinetrip.com is wholly owned by B&L Limited, a company registerded in Hong Kong. In this Site, “you” and “your” means all persons named on the booking (including anyone who is added or substituted at a later date) or any of them as the context requires. “awinetrip”,  “we”, “us” and “our” means awinetrip.com and awinetrip afficiated websites and social networking pages. “Listed Partners” means all listed parties on awinetrip.com including tour operators / agents, tour guides, accomodation providers, restaurants, wineries, retailers, wedding professionals or any service providers listing on our Site with business interests.

Awinetrip is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy as an user using our Site. We have prepared this Privacy Policy to help you understand how awinetrip collects, uses and seeks to safeguard the Personal Information (as defined below) you provide to us on our websites, via email, and through our service providers, agents and distribution partners. This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information or other practices of any third party, including any third­party distribution partners, suppliers and tour operators, and any third party operating any site to which our Site contains a link. By downloading, accessing or using our websites, or providing information to us in connection with our Site, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of this Privacy Policy.

 
Information We Collect

We collect Personal Data about you that you provide to us when using the Site. Personal Data may include your name, address, date of birth, phone number, credit card details, email address, booking and reservation details. We also collect non­personally identifiable information, which may be linked to your Personal Data, including your log­in details, IP address, geographic data, operating system type, internet service provider, referral source, page views, search preferences, nationality and password. If you access the Site through a social networking account, we may collect, store and use the details of that social networking profile and any information contained therein in order to populate any forms you might wish to complete on the Site.


How We Use Your Personal Data

From time to time, awinetrip may contact you to request feedback on your travel experiences, usage of the Site, to assist us in improving the Site, to send newsletters or to offer special promotions to you as a Site user, where you have indicated your consent to receiving such communications. If you would prefer not to receive these related marketing communications, you may simply email us at [email protected] at any time. If you change your mind and wish to subscribe to our newsletter and marketing promotions from us or other carefully chosen affiliates, please email us at [email protected] at any time. The confirmation emails and messages sent after your booking and the guest review emails sent after your departure respectively are not marketing messages as these are part of your booking process. These allow you to check in at and rate the booked products or services after your trip if you wish to do so. You will continue to receive them, even if you have opted out of our marketing messages. The travel review is completely optional, but will help other users make an informed decision. 

The Site may use social plugins which are provided and operated by third­party companies, such as Facebook’s Like Button. As a result of this, you may send to the third­party company the information that you are viewing on a certain part our platform. If you are not logged into your account with the third­party company, then the third party may not know your identity. If you are logged into your account with the third­party company, then the third party may be able to link information about your visit to our platform to your account with them. Similarly, your interactions with the social plugin may be recorded by the third party. Please refer to the third party’s privacy policy to find out more about its data practices, such as what data is collected about you and how the third party uses such data.

We may, either directly or through third party companies and individuals we engage to provide services to us, review, scan, or analyse your communications with other users exchanged via the Site for fraud prevention, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, investigation, product development, research and customer support purposes. We may also scan, review or analyse messages for research and product development purposes to help make search, booking and user communications more efficient and effective, as well as to debug, improve and expand product offerings. We may, from time to time, have to manually review some communications. Awinetrip has the full discretion to amend or delete communications between users and Listed Partners under the purposes of non­disclosure of contact details before a booking confirmation is made. By using the Site and our booking platform, you consent that awinetrip, in its sole discretion, may, either directly or through third party companies and individuals we engage to provide services to us, review, scan, analyse, and store your communications, whether done manually or through automated means.

Some of the Personal Data we collect is shared with our Listed Partners (eg. tour operators) who are directly involved in fulfilling the purchases you have made for us, such as name and contact details, travel dates, etc. If you decide to provide any Personal Data directly to a service provider, we recommend that you review the Listed Partner’s privacy policy or make inquiries before your booking to determine how such service provider may use or disclose your Personal Data. We also share your Personal Information with third parties contracted to provide us with marketing and data reporting services who are bound by an obligation of confidentiality and with other third party marketing partners.

You may review, update, correct or delete Personal Data in your awinetrip account. If you would like to correct your information or cancel your awinetrip account entirely, you can do so by logging in to your account. Please also note that any reviews, forum postings and similar materials posted by you may continue to be publicly available on the Site in association with your name, even after your awinetrip account is cancelled. We continuously implement and update administrative, technical and security measures to help protecting your Personal Data against unauthorised access, destruction or alteration. However, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage environment can be guaranteed 100% secure, so we cannot give an absolute assurance that the information you provide to us will be secure at all times. Awinetrip will not be held responsible for events arising from authorised access to your Personal Data. Awinetrip will rely on you telling us if you experience any unusual events that may indicate a breach in your information security. We will then seek to investigate whether security breach was related to the data transmissions from or to awinetrip and let you know what steps can be taken and have been taken to help rectify the problem. Further action such as reporting to the police or other proper authorities may also be required.
